Romanian Radio launched a radio station in Moldovia

Radio Chisinau started in Moldova on 1st of December 2011. The station is operated by the Romanian Radio. It uses a FM network with frequencies in the capital Chisinau (89.6 MHz) and six other cities. The program will feature a mix of music and information. Radio Chisinau is a Romanian language radio station, being the only station of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company in Moldova. The frequencies used, other than the capital Chisinau, are the ones previously used by Arena FM:
Ungheni: 93,8
Tighina: 106,1
Cahul: 93,3
Edine: 106,4
Briceni: 102,6
Drochia: 107,1
The station has website at http://www.radiochisinau.md/.
