Sabco Media, aimed at providing a broader selection of programming for an increasingly sophisticated audience, launched its ‘Al Wisal‘ Arabic FM radio channel, a brand new radio station with a motto ‘talk less, play more (music)’, on 19 March 2008. Al Wisal, the first of its kind in the Sultanate, promises to be a lifeline that binds listeners to the expanding world of Arabic music and will also serve as a source of information for them. The new channel is aired on 96.5 FM.
