RAI MW news update

Mr. Andrea Borgnino working at RAI Roma in Saxa-Rubra reports from RAI WAY, concerning the recent activation of the new RAI Pisa-Coltano transmitter ( 2 x 55 kW Harris) on frequency 657 kHz ; at present RAI Pisa-Coltano is still active also on 1062 kHz. After the end of the TESTING period, the 1062 kHz transmitter will be closed down.

The RAI 1 Firenze-Testarossa 1368 kHz seems to be closed down.

    RAI 1Firenze is still on the air. Heard last night at 1700 UTC.
