Radio 700 takes over 6005 kHz from DeutschlandRadio
The former DeutschlandRadio shortwave frequency 6005 kHz on the 49 MB has found a new owner. In July 2007 the frequency was transferred by federal net agency, in agreement with DeutschlandRadio, to the “Funkhaus Euskirchen”. The new, extensive shortwave station will broadcast the 24h German -language European program “Radio 700“. At present “Radio 700” already broadcasts world-wide in the InterNet, as well as in some regions of Germany on FM and in the cable. The programming of “Radio 700” consists of Schlager- and Oldies music and hourly information from European partner companies such as Deutschlandfunk, Radio Prague, Radio Vatikan, Radio France International, Eadio Sweden and others,.For the first time over the new short wave was used on Saturday, 24 November 2007 at 10:00 UTC.
