New peace radio launched in Sudan on 963 kHz

The National Council for Radio and Television of Sudan launched an experimental broadcast of Salam [peace] Radio for the first time on Saturday 27th October]. The radio will be available on FM and 312 metres medium wave (=963 kHz) to cover all parts of the country and spread the culture of peace and remove remnants of war.

This was announced by the general manager of the National Council for Radio and Television, Dr Amin Hasan Umar, in a press conference today on this occasion

The station has already been received in Finland by Mauno Ritola identifying as ‘Radio As-Salam‘ (finndxer)
