The 20kW AIR Vividh Bharathi -tranmsitter in Panaji (Goa) moves from 1539 kHz to 828 kHz, in order to escape from the interference of VOA Radio Aap Ki Duniya.

As new FM transmitters in the region have been installed, the following AIR MW -transmitters will be closed:
1485 (1) Diphu (Assam)
1584 (1) Mon (?)
1485 (1) Nongstoin (Meghalaya)
1602 (1) William Nagar (Meghalaya)
After this the following MW transmitters are still avtive:
1602 (1) Saiha (Mizoram), Tuensang (Nagaland), Zero (Arunachal Pradesh).

AIR Vividh Bharathi has new frequency and new schedule on SW since 26 of September:
00.25-04.35: 9870 (Bangalore 500 kW, 330°)
09.00-12.00: 9870
12.45-17.40: 9870
