New Canadian X-band station

A new Canadian station on X-band, CHTO Toronto, has been testing on 1690 kHz. Format is ethnic, mainly in Greek, it also airs some Armenian, Romanian, Serbian, Bulgarian and English programming as well. It is owned by Canadian Hellenic Toronto Radio Inc. It has been reported to be slightly off channel, on 1690.7 kHz.

    They were only offcentred for a couple of weeks and are now back on 1690 exactly.
