There hasn’t been many loggings lately of Rádio Difusora de Cáceres (MT) on 5055 kHz. The station is active, however. Reinaldo Gomes received the station on 17th of April, at 1005 in Altamira, Paraná (PR), At that moment, the station broadcast a program with sertanejas.

Radio Cultura AM, São Paulo (SP), has been using new program table since 24th of April. The station introduces dedicated programs on education and culture. Thus, it broadcasts programs like ‘Diário de Classe’, ‘Escola Viva’ and ‘Escola do Futuro’. The station has also installed 11 new studios which are shared with Radio Cultura FM. Additionally it has renewed its technology, with the purchase of new transmitters. The transmitter on 1200 kHz now uses increased power of 100 kW (ex-50 kW). On shortwaves, Cultura AM can be received on 9615 and 17815 kHz. Cultura FM is relayed on 6170 kHz. This information is provided by the site SóRádio!.

Rádio Guarani, Belo Horizonte (MG), plans to buy a 50 kW transmitter in order to reach great part of the territory of Minas Gerais on its frequency of 1190 kHz. The information is of Jose Durval, of Pompeu (MG).

Rádio Transmundial, Santa Maria (RS) has following schedule:
1000 – 2200 UTC on 9530 and 11735 kHz
0300 – 1000 UTC on 5965 kHz.

Rádio Senado Ondas Curtas, Brasília (DF), broadcasts 0900-2200 UTC on 5990 kHz, from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays it broadcasts the program “O Senado é Mais Brasil” between 0900 and 1200 UTC.

Rádio Inconfidência, Belo Horizonte (MG) plans to reactivate its 19 Mb frequency of 15190 kHz. This news comes from the station engineer José Guilherme, who was recently interviewed by radio listener Danilo Nonato de Paula, of Ouro Preto (MG). Radio Guarujá Paulista, Guarujá (SP) is now part of the Sistema Globo de Rádio network, and identifies itself as Radio Globo Santos. Only six programming hours daily will be produced locally. The future of DX Clube do Brasil’s DX -program ‘Nas Ondas Curtas da Guarujá Paulista’ is uncertain. The station still operates on 3385 and 5045 kHz.

Rádio Educadora de Limeira (SP), is the only Brazilian station presently active on 120 Mb. The station was logged by Márcio Pontes in Registro (SP), on 4th July with sertaneja music. The frequency is 2380 kHz.
