Shannon Community Radio back on air

Shannon Community Radio are back on air. The community radio station, which broadcasts to the Shannon area in County Clare, Ireland on 92.5MHz, will be on air every Saturday between now and the end of the year.

This is Shannon Community Radio’s third period on air under the BCI’s temporary licence scheme – they first appeared in January 2005. The station has 60 volunteers and is totally financed via subscriptions and donations.
