Radio Independence, Montevideo 1530 AM loses license

The Uruguayan executive authority finally revoked the operation licenses granted to the brothers Berch and Aram Rupenián. The decision of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, signed by the president of the republic, Tabaré Vázquez, includes the four radio stations administered by the entrepreneurs: CX 50 “Radio Independence”, 234 CXD “Concert FM”, CX 287 “Radio Punto” and CX 232C “Radio Concert Punto”.

    Why…??!! did the government revoked the licenses of the Rupenians, icons of Uruguayan culture in music and radio???!!!!
