1150 CMKX Radio Bayamo, Entronque Bueycito (Granma) – My first verification from Cuba in years. I hadn’t even heard about CMKX Radio Bayamo 1150 until I picked up the station during my visit to Smøla in March (11th March was a good day for LA DX), and I sent an email to the address found on their web last night. Tonight I received a nice email from Armando Yero La O, confirming my reception.

1570 TGVE Radio VEA, Guatemala City – David de León sent me my 3rd LA QSL’s in less than 24 hours when he verified my January 2007 report this afternoon. Radio VEA had a good signal when they closed down for the day! Thank you David for giving me a new country on mediumwave.
