Couple of CA QSL’s

1480 WMDD Radio Tropical, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. WMDD Radio Tropical, or ‘Tropical 14-80’ as they usually call themselves, is one of the easiest Puerto Rican stations to hear at my place. At our usual DXpedition site at Lista this station can often be heard with terrific signals. As the station name implies, the station has a format of tropical music, i.e. salsa, merengue and bachata music. I have never had any success with my (many) reports to them, untill this week when I got a friendly e-mail from Rita Friedman, Presidenta of the station.

1560 R Adventista Panama. Another nice station found it’s way to my inbox today when Jeser Ordóñez C., Programmer verified my 8th November 2006 report. Heard Radio Adventista with an nice identification mixed with Santa Maria de la Paz Radio, Medellin.

1580 XEDM La Grande de Sonora, Hermosillo, Mexico. Very surprising email tonight from Juan Armando Torrelemus, confirming my reception of XEDM 1580. Haven’t seen many QSL’s from them lately.
