TWR Puttalam QSL

TWR India transmitting from Puttalam, Sri Lanka on 880 kHz, verified by eMail. The v/s was Vels (no other name given), station engineer for Trans World Radio Puttalam. He writes: “We have received few mails in the past too from Europe for 882 KHz MW.
We broadcast on 882 KHz from 22:30 to 01:00 and again 12:00 to 18:30 UTC to
India. I am sure you heard the sky wave in the evening hours.
We use Nautel 200KW x 2 combined, Solid State AM on dual frequencies with 3
tower directional antenna at 0 deg azimuth. We operate on 873 KHz from 01:35
to 03:35 on 200KW, during day light hours. You could obtain our program
details on www.radio882.com and download the programs that we air on 882
KHz.
” The eMail -address from where the reply came from is ‘twrsripv’ at the domain ‘wow.lk’.
