Sports talk radio station WKNR (850-AM) flipped the switch on a new era when it officially became ESPN 850 WKNR on the 26th of Feb.

Being Northeast Ohio’s dominant ESPN affiliate isn’t new to WKNR, but it does represent a change under the new ownership of Good Karma Broadcasting, headed by Craig Karmazin. His corporation, which also owns ESPN Cleveland 1540, assumed ownership of ‘KNR this fall and immediately pledged to address the concerns of the rabid listeners who expressed disappointment in what the station had become.
