UK-FM: Saga to be re-branded Smooth Radio

GMG – the new owners of the Saga radio stations in UK, has announced plans to rebrand them. From March, Radio’s Saga stations will become Smooth Radio, the name of stations it already operates – one in London, the other in the north-west of England. The suffix, ‘fm’, is being dropped from Smooth, in addition.

    Well I have been listening to Smooth (which it certainly isn’t) and compred to the old Saga it is …well..quite honestly c***p.Thy have decided to compete with Radio 2 and have comletely lost the eclectic mix Saga had. i.e they played the likes of Frank Sinatra Mel Torme and Ella Fitzgerald alongside the Beatles. Rolling Stones. The Who
