Seattle’s News Talk KKOL General Manager Joe Gonzalez announced a signal boost to 50,000 watts for the station transmitter at its new Port of Tacoma site. The power increase gives one of Seattle-Tacoma’s oldest stations access to a significantly wider audience for its news and opinion programming. The new signal increases KOL’s coverage by 2 million to more than 3.5 million area listeners.
