KKOL Seattle 1300 will boost signal to 50kW

News Talk 1300 AM KKOL Seattle will boost signal to 50,000 Watts. The approval process requires terminating 1290AM KIKN signal. Salem Communications Corporation announced that 1290 AM KIKN, which is simulcast with News Talk 1300 AM KKOL, will terminate its signal effective October 18 in preparation of its planned improvement of KKOL’s signal to 50,000 watts. Salem is taking this action as part of requirements regulated by the FCC. The company’s website is at www.salem.cc.
