Croatian Radio has closed down its transmitters on 774, 783, 1125, 1134 and 1557 kHz. The only active Croation transmitters are now on 1134 kHz and 594 kHz, of which the latter one broadcasts in DRM during daytime.

A new station called Antares AM 1650 has been logged in Sweden in England on 1650 kHz. The slogan of the station is “La Radio de la Familia”, and like almost all Argentianian X-banders, transmits from Buenos Aires area, from somewhere in the western capital region.

Radio Symban, Australia, is testing on 2368,5 kHz, with a 1 kilowatt transmitter from Peats Ridge near Sydney. Radio Symban is a Greek langiage station that also broadcasts on 1674 kHz. The station has promised to answer to reception reports, if attached with MP3-file and emailed to ’symban’ at the domain ‘radiosymban.com.au’ with the subject “Reception report”.
Many Australian station are planning to take use of the 2368,5 kHz frequency.

Radio San Juan is a new Peruvian station on 4805 kHz. The station was logged in Bolivia. The station transmits from San Juan Bautista in the department of Ayacucho. The address: Jirón Arica 105, San Juan Bautista, Huamanga, Ayacucho, Perú.

i102-104, the North West’s newest radio station, begin broadcasting across the North West in Ireland on Thursday, February 7. The new station will be the first dedicated radio station for young people in the North West region and will broadcast to Galway, Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim, Longford, Roscommon and Donegal. The station will be music driven and will focus heavily on listener interactivity, combining interactive news and discussion programmes in a varied and exciting programme schedule. Choice Broadcasting Limited trading as 4FM was awarded a multi-city radio licence (subject to contract) by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland on 28th January 2008 for a new music driven service aimed at listeners in the 45+ category.
The franchise area for the service is for Dublin City and County and the Commuter belt, Cork City and County, Galway City and County, Limerick City and County and County Clare.

Truckradio has stopped its Mediumawe -transmissions on all frequencies (531, 702, 738 and 855 kHz) all over Germany since 15.5.2008.
