New FM channel launched in Turkmenistan

This October a fourth national radio channel Ovaz (Melody) has started to broadcast in the Turkmen, Russian and English languages throughout the country. The leading Russian and German companies supplied up-to-date equipment and materials for the new radio channel. The foreign specialists and Turkmen telecommunications engineers assembled and installed the equipment in the premises of the Ashgabat Radio Center allocated for the Ovaz studios and editing rooms.
